Description
Plant (phytoplankton) and animal (zooplankton) organisms unable to swim against the current (sometimes microscopic sometimes as large as jellies). Some spend their entire lives as plankton (holoplankton), and some grow up to become animals (meroplankton) you recognize like crabs, sea stars, anemones and more!
