Description
Black and white bird with long tails and seemingly arched wings while in flight. Their bodies look torpedo-shaped, with a chest, throat and rump sides white.
Behaviors
They nest in crevices in cliffs, gluing twigs and moss to the cliff walls. You may see them diving elegantly through the air at incredible speeds as they hunt for insects.
Fun Facts
These birds can reach speeds of 100mph! They cannot walk, so they spend their entire time in the air, or perched with their specialized talons grasping onto rocky surfaces.
