Description
A perennial herb in the aster family, seaside daisies grow throughout the Point Lobos State Natural Reserve. It is easily recognizable by its lavender petals and blue-green leaves.
The Seaside Daisy attracts bees and butterflies, sometimes blooming from winter through summer.
Fun Facts
Seaside Daisies are highly tolerant of harsh salt spray and wind, growing in sand and on steep banks at Point Lobos.
